I had moved house so I didn't receive the earlier letters, and didn't get a chance to put in my employment details. I earned money that year as I was only on benefits for about 13 weeks. Now the place where I worked no longer runs. I will fight this as I know I'm in the right and I didn't earn money in that time. Justice will prevail. I urge people to fight their claim if they think Centrelink is in error.

How do you feel about the way the Government has handled this process?:

I think the Government is in the wrong because you are assuming people are in the same address and still linked to Centrelink in some way 5 years after the event. I didn't have my CRN or CAN number or any of that 5 years later as I have not been linked to Centrelink and then I am punished for not updating my details. I will fight this and win.
