I'm a long term sufferer of depression and anxiety and being informed i was being investigated made my condition worse. I usually apply for my yearly cash advance at this time of the year to pay my car registration, however, now i have a debt with Centrelink, i am no longer eligible for this loan. I won't be able to pay that now, so i will no longer have a car. This is going to impact heavily on my ability to find work.
How do you feel about the way the Government has handled this process?:
I think they could have been a bit more prompt on discovering my error (i missed reporting one pay period) and let me know back in 2010/2011 when i had the money to pay them back straight away. I paid about $4000 in tax that year, surely that should have covered it.
