My stress and anxiety is through the roof at the moment and I have no money to my name, because I work a casual job which I might work a whole week then the next week have barely anything on, the debt collectors tried to push the debt onto my partner who has never been involved with Centrelink and we are struggling to keep a roof under our heads as well as other bills that follow, when I received this letter in the mail I had a mental break down and cried and thought this was a very bad nightmare and it forever continues until it's solved.
Theirs actions are disgusting,uncaring and they only discuss things within the government and don't actually go out and talk to the community to hear other people's input on the situation and other circumstances, I don't feel like we have a say in this country and we can't fight for our rights and when we do they ignore it and run everything on their own terms, even though plenty of people out there have more common sense then what they do and have much better ideas as they do also, they need to wake up and smell the roses and address matters more sensitively among the community and listen to what we are saying, so then hopefully they are getting an understanding what everyone is going through and how we can come together and solve any situations at hand. At this point in time I have no respect for our government and what they have done towards the hundreds and thousands of people who have received this debt, they are treating us like criminals, which a vast amount of us haven't even committed acts of fraud towards the welfare system. All I can say is that there needs to be a huge change within the government and its people.
