I had been unemployed for 21/2 years and reentered the workforce in Jan 2014. Work was slow to build up so I received a lower pay packet early on and it grew. They've averaged the amount and arrived at a figure. The business I worked for has sinced merged, a document trail can't be established, my computer crashed 18 months ago, I lost all my pay emails. My only hope relies on being able to establish a payment trail via my bank receipts, which I have been encouraged to do.
Meanwhile I'm off work on sickness benefits after being injured at work, then suffering a heart attack, I can't return to work. I've just been advised of my sacking, via email, Boxing Day. Now I see my next payment is missing $80 odd dollars to repay this fictitious amount. Not only that but they've stopped my rent assistance, guess I'll have to forgo the next round of meds I need, oh yea, they've not renewed my Health Care Card too, so I'm no where near affording them !
I have to hope I can rectify this with more information, they've welcomed getting it, it's that it's so hard to obtain, I've lost my copies and the business I worked for cannot resupply them. My bank records now confirm the amounts, I now have to reconstruct them in a backwards fashion. I've heard others have had this method declined, I hope I'm successful.
Otherwise this is disgusting, it's calling me a thief, a fraud, it's a blight on me, all because "They" say so !
