Very stressful as the due date of the debt was 25dec16 xmas day!
I have wasted 45hours of my life trying to resolve. Very high anxiety whenever Centrelink would answer a call, transferred numerous occasions. It wasn't until the 3rd phone call that I learnt about how their system overrid my data that I had entered during my reporting period. What is the point in reporting if a 'computer' can override the figures entered.
I would like to submit an invoice to Centrelink for my time I have wasted trying to fix their mistake! Ain't gonna happen.........I submitted an official complaint online as well, still no response. The appeal process can take 12 weeks. They don't afford us the same timeframe, they give us a mere 30 days to pay up. Beauracracy gone mad!
Treated like a 2nd class citizen. Presumed guilty because I got a letter generated by them.
Angry that I'm wasting my time trying to resolve there mess!
They aren't truthful until really drilled about the supposed debt.
