Tell us about your debt and how has this affected you? e.g. anxiety levels, financial and accommodation stress:
SEVERE financial difficulties, missed rent payments, overdue bills, skipping meals. Suffer from severe depression, suicidal thoughts, stress manifesting in physical symptoms. I can't afford to stay alive, let alone be hit with over $10k debt.
How do you feel about the way the Government has handled this process?:
I feel targeted, as if I have done something wrong, when I am always deliberate and accurate in my dealings with Centrelink. I feel like a criminal, for asking for assistance, and when I really need it (now) I'm entitled to nothing, and expected to pay back an overpayment. It's sickening and wrong. I want to end my life
