Tell us about your debt and how has this affected you? e.g. anxiety levels, financial and accommodation stress:

Highly stressed and suicidal can’t trust the government. The first I was aware off the debt was when I did my tax. I got a email to check my myGov account. Got a online letter from Centrelink saying I owed them money and they were going to take my tax refund. I’ve been relying on this as I have bills that I’m behind in need to service my car and other things. Also I’m not on any sort of Centrelink benefit I work 6 days a week 12 hour days as a chef in a highly stressful environment. This is last thing I need in my life thanks mr prime minister.

How do you feel about the way the Government has handled this process?:

Confused and lost frustrated. I’ve done a bit of research and found that they’ve only taken my tax returns from 2016 to now which to me seems highly fishy as they aren’t able to access my tax return from the year before the robodebt was initiated. They’re rally needs to be some sort of royal commission looking into this. The government should not be allowed to do this.
