I returned home from UK after attending my dad's funeral to be inundated with emails adding if this debt.
It had been a really stressful time anyway but this nearly pushed me over the edge.

The reason was my child care % were on 100% when they should have only been 68%.
As I’d always informed CSA of my %, they should have then informed Centrelink, which they didn’t. It clearly stated it on the letter that I didn’t have to inform both agencies but Centrelink didn’t care. I went through all the review processes and then the AAT and they declared that I should not have the debt...... they have since given me another debt of $800 due to CSA again which I didn’t have the strength to fight.

How do you feel about the way the Government has handled this process?:

Centrelink was absolutely appalling. They had zero empathy or compassion when I was crying on the phone.
No wonder they get abused. I can’t wait for the day when I am not currently on anything.
