I worked several jobs in this period, 2 were not for the full financial year but they have been averaged out over the whole of 2013-14.
Very difficult getting through to Centrelink by phone. The MyGov online account doesnt have a debt review option but they tell me on the phone that it does. They cant help me on the phone even though staff have said they can see what the problem is and the debt needs to be recalculated. They have also said I can go to a Centrelink office to manually upload all my payslips for the period but I work during the week and have not had time to spend waiting in an office.
They said I would be transferred to a debt collector if I did not start repaying by January 2nd even though the amount is incorrect.
Feels very frustrating and not sure how this will be resolved.

How do you feel about the way the Government has handled this process?:

A ruthless system set up by people who have no idea how this will hurt many people in our society, or perhaps they just dont care and feel that those who are not rich like themselves are worthy of contempt.
