I received this debt notice a month before signing for my first mortgage. To suggest that debt collectors would be chasing me for this money right before signing could have had disastrous long term ramifications for me.
I'm also personally offended that this debt is implying that I have committed fraud. Between 2010-2012 I was at University full time as well as working 3 casual jobs, I was meticulous with money and reporting my income. This is NOT my mistake with reporting, wheres your proof of this accusation which I have requested numerous times.
Working in health and aged care I see the constant cut backs, loss of services and treatment of people who struggle in the community. I have come to expect this behaviour from this Government. This however is a new low for this Government. To target the most vulnerable people in the community right before Christmas is deplorable. I'm sure there are people who aren't doing the right thing, but to conduct yourself in this way is disgraceful.
