This was the worst experience I have encountered in a long time. I'm pregnant with shocking morning sickness-first trimester at the time. I got this ridiculous debt that was not calculated correctly (who works consistent hours in retail!?!) amd am told to pay it back or risk having a bad credit rating or going to court. My stress levels were through the roof-
I spent hours (5ish over many days) on the phone to Centrelink but they would pass me on to different departments, I never thought I was getting anywhere. It was not good for me or my emotional well being, so my husband and I decided to just pay the money- it wasn't worth it for us- our baby was our priority.
