At first I was going to pay it just to get it over and done with, however when I let my mother know about she got angry and told me to call them. I called them, the first person I spoke to suggested that I pay in part whilst I disputed it (I have most of the documentation) then he put me onto the compliance department and the person was trying to talk me through this incredibly complex way of of doing this through the website. I have logged into mygov so many times and tried to follow the instructions but the options he suggested dont seem in exist. Its like trying to walk through a brick wall.
I cant believe the absurdity of this ordeal. Now they are talking about putting centrelink workers through Aggressive Customer training, how much will that cost just to scrape every little cent out of people who are already struggling, I think we should start a class action to be frank!! Centrelink needs a spring clean!
