Unbelievable waste of time, money and not to mention that fact that I have been accused of rorting the system. Despite all of this I will fight them all the way.
Centrelink is purely on a fishing expedition claiming initially that I owed them for eight different employees over five years. I have successfully fought of six of these and still fighting over the last two.
After fighting centrelink for 18months I am now at the second level of the tribunal. Interestingly Centrelink's lawyer has contacted me and offered a settlement of 50% of what they claim is the outstanding debt. Despite them refusing to discuss matters prior to this and providing the correct paperwork to either myself or the tribunal. They now want to settle as it will cost them too much... What a joke, they would have already spent well over what the alleged debt was worth in the past 18 months.
