Tell us about your debt and how has this affected you? e.g. anxiety levels, financial and accommodation stress:

I have not been on any Centrelink payments for 5 years. They are asking me for money I earned on student income!

As a trained lawyer I know what my rights are to dispute this but I am stressed how they won't deal in writing and constantly try to put the onus on me (to not be a liar).

The income checker website jumped from 2-3 weeks at different spots so I am angry at this number which appears to be pulled out of someone's backside.

How do you feel about the way the Government has handled this process?:

I've written letters and they only want to deal with people on the telephone.
You are entitled to get something in writing.

I think that the government is targeting people who used to be on welfare.
