Tell us about your debt and how has this affected you? e.g. anxiety levels, financial and accommodation stress:

I too have been victimized by the automated debt recovery scheme, eventually pinned down by the Probe group.
Centrelink initially claimed an illegitimate debt of more than $17,000.

I fought this down over months to nearly $7,000, of which $5,600 still remains.
They refuse to clear the rest of this debt, instead have sent their attack dog, the Probe group, to threaten my credit rating.
I allegedly acquired this debt when I had returned to study, through 'non-eligible payments received,' as if having a HECS debt wasn't enough.

I am now working in agriculture, my wife casually as a Registered Nurse. We have an 11 month old son and another on the way. We live mostly on a single income.

I'm not looking for sympathy, but has anyone ever had a win against 'Robo-Debt'?

How do you feel about the way the Government has handled this process?:

If by 'government,' the question is to the effectiveness of the individuals employed by Centrelink in aiding me in the upheaval of my illegitimate debt, then I would say I feel as if those individuals did the most the could apparently do to help me with the powers at their disposal.

In short, I am somewhat pleased that my debt amount was amended, but not satisfied. I know that they are robbing-in-daylight, money from myself and therefore my young family and having the Probe group act on their behalf with stand-over tactics.
