Angry that we knew it was a scam and they had the data to prove the claim was false but were counting on us to just pay up and say nothing.
Centrelink pretended they had no received a termination certificate which is their requirement.
The debt was fake and god knows where they got the $4500 from. It was a complete fraud!

It was stressful getting another copy of the termination certificate from years ago. It took weeks to resolve.
Endless calls waiting on the phone, being cut off all the time. We nearly went crazy with frustration.

When we produced the evidence the debt just went away.

We think "how many people just payed up?"

This is deliberately unconscionable conduct! It is bullying of the elderly and the minister should be held to account and sacked!
