Tell us about your debt and how has this affected you? e.g. anxiety levels, financial and accommodation stress:

Centrelink have sent my partner multiple letters advising of different amounts owed back to them, the highest one being $41,700, though then they advised that this amount was incorrect and the correct amount was only around $7,000. Centrelink are no longer happy with this amount of $7,000 and are now trying to charge my partner with fraud for $41,700 even though they themselves said that this amount was incorrect.

Every time you receive a letter or talk to somebody at Centrelink you receive a different answer, if your lucky enough to receive one at all.

My partner already suffers from anxiety and the thought that she may be charged with fraud, lose her job and may affect her daughters schooling because of Centrelinks continued fuck up's has made it worse, let alone starting to affect my own anxiety / stress of supporting her.

How do you feel about the way the Government has handled this process?:

The whole Turnbull government needs to be kicked out of office.

Instead of having a ineffective and broken system in place causing stress and anxiety to thousands of citizens it should be targeting large corporations who are happy to sell their products and services in Australia but don't pay any corporate tax. They should also stop giving multiple million / billion dollar companies ie: Mining Industries / Newscorps tax cuts.

+ Instead of giving people of earn over $180K per year a tax cut they should increase the tax on those people and give the tax cut to the average earning citizen that is struggling to make ends meet.
